Schedule social posts from Grok and Grok Bot

Grok can't schedule posts to Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn on its own. Add Postqued as a custom MCP connector at grok.com/connectors, and Grok in chat or a Grok Bot can draft, schedule and send posts for approval on the accounts you connect in Postqued.

Short answer

Can Grok post to social media for me?

Not by itself. Grok's built-in connectors cover tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook and Salesforce. None of them schedules posts across social networks. xAI lets you add your own MCP server as a custom connector, as long as it is reachable over the public internet.

Grok Bot is xAI's always-on agent, in beta since August 2026. Each bot works on its own cloud computer, can run on a schedule, and uses the connectors you allow. xAI's documentation says any connector a member is permitted to use is available to every bot they run.

Postqued is a social media scheduler for creators, small teams and agencies, from $9 a month. Its remote MCP server has 62 tools, so Grok can use it as a custom connector.

Setup

How do I connect Postqued to Grok and Grok Bot?

Grok and Grok Bot use the same custom connector. You add Postqued once at grok.com/connectors with the MCP URL below, and your bots can use it too. Custom connectors are a paid Grok feature. On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin has to add the connector in the xAI console before members can use it.

  • In Postqued, connect the social accounts you want Grok to post to.
  • Go to grok.com/connectors, click New Connector, then select Custom.
  • Enter the MCP server URL: https://mcp.postqued.com/mcp
  • Complete the sign-in. Postqued supports OAuth with dynamic client registration, so Grok can send you to a Postqued consent page.
  • Ask Grok to list your Postqued workspaces and accounts to confirm the connector works.
  • Open your Grok Bot and give it a role, such as weekly content planner. It uses the Postqued connector you just added.

Keep sensitive actions on approval for your bot. Grok Bot asks before sensitive actions unless you set it to always allow them.

What can I ask Grok to do once Postqued is connected?

Grok works through the same tools as the Postqued app, inside the workspace you choose. These requests map to Postqued's MCP tools for publishing, approvals and analytics.

  • Draft three LinkedIn posts from this product update and send them to my client for approval.
  • Every Monday, plan the week's Instagram and TikTok posts and leave them for me to approve.
  • What is scheduled across my accounts for the next seven days?
  • Pull last month's TikTok metrics and suggest what to post more of.
What it can do

62 actions, the same ones your team uses.

The agent works inside your Postqued workspace. It sees the accounts you connected and nothing else.

Draft and schedule

Create posts for your connected accounts, set a time, reschedule, or cancel a target.

Send for approval

Create an approval post, revise it, and wait for a reviewer before anything is scheduled.

Use your media

Upload images and video, or reuse assets that are already in your content library.

Read analytics

Pull post metrics for a connected account so the next draft starts from what worked.

Handle comments

List new comments and reply, hide, or like them on the networks that support it.

Work across workspaces

Switch between client workspaces and see who can review in each one.

Control

You stay in charge of what gets published.

An agent that can post to your accounts needs limits. Postqued sets them on the server, so they hold no matter which assistant is connected.

  • Publishing is a dry run by default. A real publish needs an explicit request.
  • Sign-in uses scopes for read, write, publish, and admin. You approve them on the Postqued consent screen.
  • Approval workflows still apply. A post that needs a reviewer waits for one, unless the assistant acts as a team admin. Organization API keys act as a team admin, so use OAuth as an editor for a hard gate.
  • You can disconnect the assistant at any time from your Postqued account or from the assistant's connector settings.

Questions about using Postqued with Grok.

Can a Grok Bot schedule posts while I'm away?

Yes. Once Postqued is added as a custom connector, a Grok Bot can use it. A bot runs on its own cloud computer and can work on a schedule. The posts it schedules are stored in Postqued and publish from there, and posts that need approval wait for a reviewer.

Can I use Postqued from the xAI API?

Yes. xAI's API supports remote MCP tools over streamable HTTP. Pass the Postqued MCP URL as the server URL and a Postqued API key as the authorization token. The xAI API doesn't support per-call approval for MCP tools, so rely on Postqued's approval workflow and dry-run publishing.

Is Postqued an official xAI integration?

No. Postqued is not listed in xAI's connector directory. You add it yourself as a custom connector with the public MCP URL https://mcp.postqued.com/mcp, which is the route xAI documents for services outside its directory.

Do I need an API key?

Usually not. Postqued's MCP server supports OAuth with automatic client registration, so the assistant sends you to a Postqued sign-in and consent page. API keys are still available for clients that only accept a bearer token.

Which Postqued plan do I need?

MCP and API access are included on every paid Postqued plan, starting at $9 per month. The 7-day trial needs a card.

Can Grok publish without asking me?

Only if you tell it to. The publish tool runs as a dry run unless the request says otherwise, and posts that need approval wait for a reviewer in Postqued unless the assistant acts as a team admin. Sign in through OAuth as an editor for a hard gate. xAI may also ask you to confirm tool calls on its side.
